/An overview of last weekend’s competition
Kadangi FR-1000 Europos čempionatas buvo atšauktas ir pakeistas į tarptautines varžybas, turėjome negausų dalyvių skaičių. Bet džiaugiamės kaip visada šilta ir emocinga varžybų atmosfera bei visų sportininkų pasiekimais FR-1000 tarptautinių varžybų įskaitoje. Sportiniam azartui ir norui nugalėti netrukdė nei itin prastos oro sąlygos, nei nuovargis ar gendanti technika. / As the FR-1000 European Championship was canceled and replaced by an international competition, we had a small number of participants. But we are happy as always with the warm and emotional atmosphere of the competition and the achievements of all athletes in the FR-1000 international competition. Athletic passion and the desire to win were not hindered by extremely bad weather conditions, fatigue, or perishable equipment.
Nepaisant to, galime pasidžiaugti, kad varžybų metu prisidėjome ir prie jaunimo švietimo vandens sporto klausimu ir suteikėme vaikams galimybę sužinoti daugiau apie tik pernai Lietuvoje atsiradusios “Formula Future” klasės pilotavimo subtilybes, varžybų rungtis ir saugų elgesį vandenyje. O sportininkai, rodydami savo įgūdžius skrodžiant bangas taipogi praplėtė vaikų akiratį, paliko įspūdį. / Nevertheless, we can be glad that during the competition we also contributed to the education of young people in the field of water sports and gave children the opportunity to learn more about the subtleties of Formula Future class piloting, competition, and safe behavior in water. And the athletes, by showing their skills in dissecting the waves, also broadened the children’s horizons, left an impression.
Dėkojame bendruomenės centrui “Petrašiūnai”, už suteiktą galimybę prisidėti prie vaikų švietimo ir skatinimo užsiimti fizine veikla. / We thank the community center “Petrašiūnai” for the opportunity to contribute to the education and encouragement of children to engage in physical activity.
Be galo džiaugiamės, kad tokiais renginiais galime populiarinti savo miestą Kauną ir kelti jo žinomumą tarptautiniu mastu. Esame dėkingi, kad miesto savivaldybė mumis tiki ir prisideda prie projektų organizavimo. / We are extremely happy that with such events we can popularize our city Kaunas and raise its international awareness. We are grateful that the city municipality trusts us and contributes to the organization of projects.
